Privacy, in plain words.

What we collect

Your email and password when you create an account. The photos you upload and the videos we make from them. Your plan and credit activity. If someone fills out the contact form on one of your share pages, we collect what they typed — for you.

We also note basic technical details when you visit — including the page that referred you and your IP address — which we use to keep the site secure and running, not to build a profile of you.

Your leads are yours

People who reach out on your share pages are your leads, full stop. We deliver them to you and that's it. We don't contact them, we don't market to them, we don't sell or share their details — ever.

Payments

Payments run through Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us — we never see or store it.

Cookies

Signing in uses essential cookies — the kind that make login work. Beyond that, we use one optional analytics cookie (Google Analytics) and only if you say yes when we ask. Say no and everything still works; you can change your mind any time via “Cookie choices” in the footer.

Who helps us run this

A handful of trusted companies do specific jobs so HomeTourVideo works. Each one only handles the data it needs, on our behalf, under its own security terms:

• Supabase — your account, our database, and file storage.
• Anthropic — writes your narration and reads your photos to sort the rooms.
• ElevenLabs — turns the narration into voiceover audio.
• Stripe — handles payments.
• Amazon Web Services — renders your final video.
• Vercel — hosts the site.
• Google Analytics — optional, and only if you accept the analytics cookie.

Where your data lives

Our providers are based in the United States. If you're outside the US, your data is processed in the US.

What we keep, and for how long

Your account, your photos, and your videos stay with us while your account is open. We keep them until you delete your account or ask us to remove a project. Basic activity logs — including IP addresses, which we keep to protect against abuse — roll off after a reasonable period.

What we never do

We don't sell your data. We don't use your photos or videos to advertise to anyone. We don't alter the properties in your photos beyond brightness and color — that's a product promise, not just a privacy one.

Deleting your data

Want your account and everything in it gone? Email hello@hometourvideo.com from your account email and we'll delete it. That removes your account, the photos you uploaded and the videos we made from them out of storage, and your projects — not just the account record.
